Questions, feedback, and release notes — in a public Matrix room.
Your TideWork account already works here. Sign in to Element with it exactly as you sign in to the app — same address, same passkey or recovery key.
And you do not need one. The room is on the Matrix network, so any Matrix account works — one you already have, or a free one from matrix.org. The first link lets you pick your own client; the second opens Element in your browser with nothing to install.
One thing that surprises people who sign in with their TideWork account: your workspaces show up in Element as rooms, because that is what they are. Element can even decrypt them once you have given it your recovery key. That is Matrix working as intended, not a leak — but it does mean a client you sign in to is a client that can read your workspaces, so treat it with the same care you would treat the app itself.
This room is public and unencrypted
Worth being plain about, given what TideWork is. Your workspaces are end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read them. This room is the opposite by design: it is world-readable, anyone can read the history without joining, and anyone who joins next year can read what you write today. Assume anything you post here is public, because it is.
So: no recovery keys, no invite links to private workspaces, and nothing you would not put on a forum. If you need to send us something sensitive, email tideworksupport@proton.me instead.

- Feature requests and feedback — including the unflattering kind.
- Release notes and anything going on with the hosted service.
- Bug reports, though anything with a security dimension should go to tideworksupport@proton.me first — see the security policy.
Be decent to each other. Spam, harassment and off-topic recruiting get removed, and so does whoever brought them. That is the whole moderation policy until it needs to be longer.
Service status is elsewhere
If TideWork is down, this room runs on the same homeserver and may be down with it. tidework.io/status is the place to check, and it is a static page on separate infrastructure.
